Gold Bar for Ribbon - Service or Photographic..... 25 Credits SECTION 2: Who is eligible A. All paid up Active, Associate, Additional Active and Additional Associate Members of the Indianapolis Professional Photographers’ Guild, Inc. in good standing with 3 consecutive years membership. SECTION 3: Rules Please read and follow these rules exactly. Not to do so may cause loss of Credits. If instructions and rules are not followed, we will have no choice but to disallow the Credits. All decisions on eligibility for credits will be made by the fellowship committee with the approval of the IPPG Board of Directors. These decisions will be final. The Fellowship Committee will be made up of the President, Vice-President and Secretary of the IPPG Board. The Fellowship Recorder will be an ex-officio member of the Committee. A. Credits are awarded on a calendar year basis (1998 from Jan. 1, 1998 to July 31 1999) will constitute the first year. Credits earned in one calendar year cannot be entered into your record for the past or future year. Effective August 1, 1999 IPPG calendar year runs from August 1 through July 31. B. Proof of Service or Print Credits for non-automatic Credits must be in the hands of the Fellowship Committee by August 10th for the past calendar year’s Credits earned. It is necessary to submit this information with the IPPG Fellowship verification Credit form. Contact the Fellowship Committee Recorder or an IPPG Board of Director for the Credit form. C. Proof of Service or Print Credits must be included with request for Credits or Awards. This can be a copy of a Program, Newsletter, copy of PPA Award Merit, minutes of a Board Meeting, Chairperson’s notes, Print Chairperson’s records of Scores or Awards and Secretary or Treasurer records. All of the above except for the PPA Award Merit must be signed by an official person of that event.
D. The Service Fellowship Degree Award requires twenty-five (25) Service Credits, with a minimum of fifteen (15) Service Credits to be earned through service to Indianapolis Professional Photographers’ Guild, Inc. (Service Medal with gray 30" neck ribbon, S.F. Photog.) E. The Photographic Fellowship Degree Award requires twenty-five (25) Print Credits, with a minimum of fifteen (15) Credits and/or Award Credits earned through the Indianapolis Professional Photographers’ Guild, Inc. Print Competition. The remaining ten (10) Credits can be comprised of either print or service credits. (Photographic Fellowship Medal with Maroon 30" neck ribbon, P.F. Photog.) 5/99 F. Any individual member receiving twenty-five (25) Service Credits and twenty-five (25) Print Credits will receive a grey and maroon 30" neck ribbon with one (1) or both Degree Medals. G. Those individuals who, after receiving either Service or Photographic Degree Awards may be awarded a Gold Bar to be worn on neck ribbon for each additional twenty-five (25) Service or Print Credits or for those who earned both the Service and Photographic Degree Awards, or any combination of the two totaling twenty-five (25) Credits. H. Effective August 1, 1999, no member may acquire more than ten (10) IPPG Service Credits and/or ten (10) IPPG Print Credits in each calendar year, until they have received one or both Awards after which time all Credits will be recorded for Gold Bar Award for Service or Photographic Fellowship or by Special Board of Directors Action. I. Presentation of the Fellowship Degree Awards will be made at this Association’s Annual Awards Banquet to those members who have earned and have been notified of the Award earned. Only one (1) Fellowship Degree Award (Service or Photographic) will be awarded in any one (1) Calendar Year. J. Presentation of the Fellowship Degree Bar (s) will be made at the next Association’s meeting after Credits have been earned and recorded by IPPG Recorder or Fellowship Chairperson.
K. All Members receiving a Service and/or Photographic Fellowship Degree Medal with ribbon are requested to wear the Award at ALL Photographic IPPG, PPI and PPA meetings or Programs. L. The IPPG Board of Directors, by two-thirds (2/3) vote, may retract a member’s Credits and/or Degree for sufficient cause.
